A comprehensive health check-up program was successfully conducted at the BMC South East Zone office in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, spearheaded by Smt. Rajalakshmi Nayak, OAS, Zonal Commissioner, and Sri Binod Kumar Behera, OAS, Deputy Commissioner. The initiative, which aimed at promoting employee well-being, was organized in collaboration with Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, ASG Eye Hospital, and Agarwal’s Skin Hair & Laser Clinic.
Approximately 100 staff members availed themselves of the health services offered during the program. This initiative underscores the commitment of both officials to ensuring the health and wellness of the BMC South Zone employees.
The health check-up included tests for RBS (Random Blood Sugar), Diabetes screening, Blood Pressure monitoring, skin care consultations, and ophthalmology assessments. The presence and active participation of Clinical Manager Mr. Ajambila Swain (Cluster Head), Dr. Sanjukta (Dentist), Dr. Misty (Physiotherapist), and other clinical staff enhanced the effectiveness of the program.
This proactive approach by BMC South East Zone officials not only promotes a healthier workforce but also sets a commendable example for prioritizing employee welfare. Such initiatives are crucial in fostering a conducive work environment and ensuring the overall well-being of staff members.
