Biswal, IAS, Assumes Charge as Managing Director of CRUT
Bhubaneswar, October 15: Shri Sanjay Kumar Biswal, IAS, officially took charge today as the Managing Director of the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), the public transport agency operating under the Housing and Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha.
On his joining, Shri Biswal was given a warm welcome by the General Manager, senior officials, and staff members of CRUT at the organization’s head office in Bhubaneswar. The officials extended their greetings and expressed confidence that under his leadership, CRUT will continue to strengthen and modernize the public transport system in the capital region.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Biswal expressed his commitment to enhancing the quality, reliability, and sustainability of public transport services in Bhubaneswar and adjoining areas. He emphasized on improving passenger experience, adopting smart mobility solutions, and ensuring efficient service delivery through better management and technology integration.
